Product Sizing
Vests
|
Widder vests are not sized to allow room for
movement. The chest measurement is very accurate, so
the 44" vest, for example is exactly that, 44",
around the chest. There is a "standard taper" and
on the 44" vest, this translates to a 39" waist. Size
the vest for the chest fitted only over a T-shirt or
similar garment, if a sweater is needed, wear it over
the vest for maximum efficiency.
Measure around the chest just under the arms for the
chest measurement, and around the waist crossing the belly
button for the waist measurement. See picture to left.

Grips
|
Custom Heated grips come in two diameters, one for
metric bars and the other for Harley Davidsons and any
other 1" diameter handlebars. Measure both the
diameter and the length of your existing grip, we
carry a variety of lengths to match sports bikes
through to the big touring motorcycles. The other
consideration is whether your handlebars have an
obstruction or whether the wiring is inside the bars.
Measure the diameter of your handle bar and the
length of the bar you wish to cover with grip.

Gloves
|
As with Widder vests, the gloves should be chosen
to give a close fit for optimum efficiency. Unlike
the vests, they are sized large so most customers
need to choose one size smaller than normal. If
you are unsure, a faxed handprint, or the measurement
around your knuckle at the widest part of your hand
will help us to determine the right size for you.

Leg Chaps
|
By using velcro straps, Widder Lectric Chaps will
give every different type of build an individual fit
without adding unnecessary bulk inside your riding
pants. Measure the inside leg length from crotch
to ankle-bone. This measurement will be a few
inches shorter than your normal size in pants. See
picture to right.

Arm Chaps
|
For the same reason, Widder Lectric Arm chaps are
designed with straps to fit all sizes of arms. Measure
from the top vertebrae of your spine, over the elbow
to the wrist then match that length to your vest size
on our sizing chart at the end of the price list, to
select the right length of arm-chaps. Again, they
do not need to be long to avoid interference with
watch straps and gloves. See picture to left.
